Is it that their homelands are lost (or that they are not in them):
-Elves of Imladris- Valinor (they are exiled) -Dunedain- Numenor (it was destroyed and they were also in a sense "exiled") or Arnor (it is non-existent) -Orcs- Angband (it was also destroyed and the also had to flee)
