Well, how about a love interest for Beorn?
Let's see, a daughter of Thranduil helps Bilbo escape with the dwarves while giving him a love-note to take to her Beornsee. But daddy finds out about it and leads his lads to Laketown and..... Yeah, I think PJ and his girlfriends would buy that, but what about del Toro?
