Hmm, haven't come across many Americans who hate Americanisation

Well, 'hate' is maybe too strong a word, 'dislike' or 'strongly dislike' might be better. But I fit into that category as well. And I am trying to train myself to use day/month/year for dates. Not an easy thing to do, having used the American way until a few weeks ago. Anyway, you probably don't really want me to keep ranting, so I'll stop now, before I really get going!

I have not yet joined that forum, but I will soon! (I hope! I can be a bit of a flake at times)
