Elves have an extremely strong attatchment to Nature and a passion for life itself. Men only destroy these things, taking more than they need to survive just because they desire power above all else (can you hear Galadriel in there too? [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img] ). In other words, elves are superior (not to mention they KNOW it. Big inferiority complex going on there) to man, for the sole reason they are more MATURE.
