I have always been intrigued by the Medeival or Ancient times, particularly military changes (Romans conquering Britain, the sack of Babylon, shifting rulers of Greece etcetera) and would certainly have gone on the Quest -- as long as I had the others for support (<img src=wink.gif ALT=""> ). Rather in the shoes of Merry or Gimli: Merry got in on the ride of Rohan, and had the chance to aid in the destruction of the Witch-King, and Gimli for the part he played in the battle of the Pelennor Fields.

Usually keeping a lookout over http://pub24.ezboard.com/bmountgundabadMount Gundabad</a> and http://www.barrowdowns.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi The Barrowdowns</a> Middle-Earth Discussion Boards</p>
