I dream of things like going on quests(call it youthful idealism) so of course I would go, in a moment and without a second thought. The adventure of it all sounds so great, winning honor in foreign lands, fighting for the side of good, it's just all so appealing. So yes, I would in fact have gone on the Ring Bearer's quest, and would have loved every second of it(except for the parts with monsters and dark scary places, and i probably wouldn't enjoy any prospect of danger, but hey, it's all part of the adventure).
