Since it's unclear what I've done to anger Turin, I'll assume that I'm in the right and he's being unreasonable, so I'll go with that. I'd rather not be stealing anyone's jewels.

Would you rather be an Elf or a Hobbit?

(I'm surprised this one hasn't been asked as it's a rather basic one.

a hobbit. I don't care much for living for thousands of years; it gets boring after a couple of hundred...

Here's another simple one:would you rather be Merry or Pippin?

Since no one seems to want to answer this one, I'll do it myself. I'd rather be Merry - I would prefer Theoden's copany to Denethor's.

die in Mordor. At least people will say that you died because of unfortunate circumstances, not your own lack of fighting skills or vigilance or whatever else I needed to pass Shelob. (it's not your fault that you died)

I'd rather be Sauron. Morgoth must get so annoyed, walking around with a limp all the time.

Definitely Morgoth. Sauron got owned. (EDIT: Yes, I know Morgoth's doom is inevitable. But more powerful being = more epic destruction.)

Would you rather have Gandalf angry with you or do battle with Aragorn?
