I dunno if this half-heartedness would be enough to shake off my World Cup curse (having rooted for three runners-up in a row) or reality overcoming wishful thinking. Meh, it's only a point against my deeply-held principles. (Looking at it again, that post seems too long-winded.  Ah, well, there's always the terse Felagundion.  )
