I've really gone back and forth on this, thinking that it would make sense for it being a bigger deal to have a high-star player eliminated, and that dead players are still technically on your team- meaning that stars still count.

But then I've also thought that it's bad enough to lose half your team and that those players really shouldn't count... Bleh.

In the end, I have decided that eliminated stars do NOT count in your total. With limited trades already this should make things a bit easier to manage.
