Welcome to the Downs!I've been wondering the same thing so I can't really give you an answer.
However, In the Hobbit, Bilbo says...
"Tell me what you want done, and I will try it, if I have to walk from here to the East of East and fight the wild Were-worms in the Last Desert."

So maybe the Last Desert is what lies east of Mordor. [img]smilies/evil.gif[/img]
