Incidentally, I've always thought of Lindir as the most annoying, conceited, arrogant elf-centered elf on record, all because of his few recorded snooty comments (which never fail to set my teeth on edge.) "Snob! Elitist!" I cry, shaking my fist.

But actually he may have been a very nice elf. How strongly a few stray sentences can determine one's reputation down through the ages!
