The posters here are indeed a tremendously pleasant and erudite lot. After all this time it's the only forum I frequent. Enjoy yourself!

*and if you haven't done so, give The Silmarillion another read. I think it took the second time for me before I was able to keep track of what seemed like thousands of names, but it was well worth it.
