The Steward Boromir versus the Witch-king, or the last King of Gondor, Eärnur, versus him. The Witch-king feared the Steward and taunted Eärnur ever since he led a small army to aid Arnor. Though neither really got a chance to face him in single combat. The former died young of a Morgul-wound in his 70s and the latter was taken captive and/or tortured then killed.
