I did think of Stoningland, but I was trying to find named horses in Gondor and drew a blank.
 Thought of trolls and dwarves too - and Durin's Stone - but couldn't find any horses to connect with a dwarf (often a worker in stone) except Arod and Gimli, which didn't seem to work. Arod is a horse of Rohan, which fulfils the green fields bit, but Gimli didn't ride Arod alone. Still ....
