Actually, that looks to me if it might be saying something like "take synonym for 'slave' (or name of a slave), anagrammize and remove letters to get a 'black-winged' creature". (Raven? Fell beast? Ancalagon? Thuringwethil? The famous Gundabad Warbats?) Or it could mean to do that in reverse.
