Welcome back, Imladviel! Once a Downer, always a Downer?

I am too recently dead to have met you before, but looking forward to seeing you around!

Now that I think of it, I have been dead 10 years this month. 10 years, and it is still too recent. Also, several more years and I will have been on the Downs for longer than I lived without it. I am having a mid-death crisis, maybe.
