Alright, I try a real riddle I translated from my German version of the Poetic Edda (bear in mind that this excludes answers from ME alone):
Resolve the riddle I rhymed!

Explain to me the wonder
I saw in front of Delling´s door:
Who is the mighty
that passes over meadows?
Water and woodland he devours:
Wind he fears,
Yet not the valiant,
The halo of the sun he harms.
