LePetitChoux is right. Bladorthin was Tolkien's original name for Gandalf. (Or at least, so it said in the booklet that came with the Map of the Hobbit.)

I don't know if I was very clear with the instructions in my first post: this is a quiz thread for the ORIGINAL names of characters. Like, names that Tolkien gave them in the first drafts and later on changed.
