Re: How about...

Before the mighty gates there was a fight,
My sword of steel shining with cold light.
I, alone, against my mighty opponent stood,
He was the dreaded master, the Dark Lord.
I was valiant, but finally I fell.
Only one there was of my death to tell,
The master of skies, the feathered king.
There was only one, who of this fight did sing.

Horrible rhyming, I know. (But that's what I get for trying to compose poetry in a foreign language)
