YES!!! It's always nice, as a metalhead, to come into non-metal boards and see people praising one of my favorite bands. Here's a few choice Tolkien related Blind Guardian songs:

MIRROR MIRROR!!! (their best!)
The Curse of Feanor
Into the Storm
[insert: the rest of Nightfall... ]
The Bard's Song: The Hobbit
Lord of the Rings
By the Gates of Moria
Gandalf's Rebirth
Plus there's references in lots of their other songs. Damn, I love this band!
Oh!
On their next album they are doind a ~13 minute song (their longest yet!) in tribute to Lord of the Rings. Their song "Lord of the Rings" from Tales from the Twilight World just wasn't enough!

Anyway, here's some good metal bands that are all too obviously named after various Tolkienisms :
Lothlorien
Isengard
Cirith Ungol
Gandalf
Cirith Gorgor
Morgoth
there must be more...

also Orange Goblin spring to mind with the song "Lothlorien" from their Freguencies from Planet Ten record, although that's more "stoner rock" as opposed to metal.

For when the swine repent their sins I shall be there, ready to pass my almighty judgement upon their accursed souls. I am the reaper divine, I eat the hearts of the damned! Beware, ye of little faith in my majesty, for I shall rule this pitiful world. You are mine, bow down.
