This thread is sinking so *bumb*
And my guess this time will be the Silmaril which Beren and Luthien took from Morgoth's crown; that would be the stone which then returned to another "stone" ie. Menegroth. IMO the other clues fit quite nicely too. [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]
