Like the other threads for dragons, elves and men, who was the greatest Hobbit. Frodo and Bilbo have strong cases here but my vote goes to Bullroarer Took (sp?) if it is who I am thinking of. Its the hobbit who leads the victory against the orcs and invents the game of golf at the same time!!!
