Grima Getting Pretty
I just discovered this thread and have been sneaking glances while trying to do homework.. blugh. But Boromir is SO the Disco King *does the wave for Boromir*! And I LOVED the "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" ... *does the wave for the Saucepan Man*
So I decided I'd contribute my little story, dedicated to my favorite character, Grima.  Grima: I have fangirls. Oh yes, I do, and they are loyal indeed. But they are few in number, and I cannot live up to certain pretty boys -- yet. Therefore, I must come up with a way to be pretty... hmmmmm *ponders*  Aha! I have it! I shall, through subtle words and bad makeup, make everyone in the world look heinously unattractive... except Eowyn, of course. Then I shall by default, look considerably handsomer than everyone else, and Eowyn will fall for me! Bah hah! And who better to start with than the King of Rohan? *singsong* Oh, Theoden...  Theoden: Yes, Councilor?  Grima: My lord, I have recently received from Saruman the Evil Wizard who Wants to Kill You All *cough cough* I mean, the White--  Saruman: Of Many Colours!  Grima: No, that sounds too suspicious! So I have received a box of beauty products that I think my lord may find beneficial for his... er... changing look.  Theoden: Changing look? Are you calling me old?  Grima: I would never! I think that you will find it a rejuvenating experience to have a new look. I hear that Denethor over in Minas Tirith has gotten a makeover, and even Elrond has gotten his eyebrows waxed... you wouldn't want to be left out, would you, my lord?  Theoden: Well, no! I KNOW! WE MUST DO THE NOODLE DANCE! Hama: What, my lord?  Eomer: Do not question me, good Hama! I beseech thee, we *must* do the Noodle Dance! It will help us think! I would encourage my fellow Downers to investigate www.photobucket.com to host pics with. You can vote all you want, but Pippin is the one you have to convince, if you follow me.  That brings up thoughts. "Which Of the Contest Judges Would Have Gone Trophy Mad?" We know that Boromir would have been first, but whom next? Would it have been Pippin, because of his naivte? Aragorn, because he was Isildur's heir, and mortal and corruptible? Or maybe Gandalf, for his desire to do good? Hmm. More tonight, hopefully... (Nuts! Had this all typed up, and then IE crashed. *kicks computer*) Oh yes, Elennar. Granola people aren't the only ones who care about their socks. I care very much too.

This is an older one that I did on MY FORUM a while back. One or two of you may recognize it.
~*~*~*~*~*~  Here I am, the Great Legolas Greenleaf, attempting to bungee jump the Great Rock.  I shove my assistants aside and gaze fearlessly down into the depths.  Man, that's a long way down.  But nevermind, I am as fearless as I am good-looking! Now I jump...  Mr. Legolas sir, I've cleaned your rope all up...Mr. Legolas?  Mr. Legolas! Don't jump without your...  Rope? Oh dear. THE Ka - I'm not really that big of a fan of David Bowie, but I do like "Bring Me the Disco King". I wanted to thank you for pointing me towards it, I first heard of it in your sig/location. So thanks!
 And did you know, when I first heard about the LotR movies (late 1999 early 2000) I read somewhere online that David Bowie wanted to try out for the part of Elrond. I thought you especially might get a kick out of that. Just a blurb here. On, then! Starring Eowyn as THE Ka and Arwen as Ellenar Starfire ~*~*~*~*~*~*~  Bring me the Disco King...Bring me the Disco King...  Here he is!  They dragged me here...  Ah, ah, ah, ah, stayin' alive...
