Galadriel & Melian
These two incredible women of great power contributed to many of th good impacts during the reign of evils in Middle-earth but there is something, well alot different between the two. Although Melian's native strength is greater than Galadriel (being of the Maiar), it seemed to me that Galadriel has more of a commanding stature & wisdom than Melian (very evident in the 3rd age). Galadriel had much input on decisions & rarely stayed in the background & she, like Melian had great foresight & was able to see & percieve clearly the mind of Sauron than any of the wise (save for Gandalf but he's a maia & was also counselled byu Galadriel in Lothlorien) & at that time Sauron was more powerful than Morgoth. Whereas Melian, though she lent alot with her girdle, she had very limited skills in convincing Thingol who would easily brush away her counsels unlike Galadriel & Celeborn. And then Melian abandoned her kingdom open to the attacks of Morgoth & abandoning her maidens & her subjects to suffer. Sure she had suffered loses but that wasn't reason enough. She didn't even thionk twice for her people. Galadriel, although Celebrian was molested, endured for her kingdom. It might've been a self-serving motive but it benefitted the elves of Lorien & her presence aided them during the final hours of darkness. I feel like Melian was somewhat weak than her apprentice in terms of queenship, & even in her choice for a husband.
