To celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the publication of The Hobbit, a sumptuous full colour art book containing the complete collection of more than 100 Hobbit sketches, drawings, paintings and maps by J.R.R. Tolkien.
There was also supposed to be a facsimile of the 1st edition Hobbit out in October, but it looks like HC have put it back till next year.

Other titles...

Some awesome news! My understanding was that HC were holding back on the facsimile Hobbit until next year, which is the 75th anniversary.

Also released next year will be Corey Olsen's Exploring the Hobbit, which, like his "Tolkien Professor" lectures will offer a comprehensive reading of Tolkien's first tale.

Michael Drout is also apparently writing a Tolkien monograph called The Tower and the Ruin, and according to Prof. Olsen, John Rateliff is also writing a new book about Tolkien's creative methods. I'm not sure when that might be released, however.

Quite an exciting couple of years to come for Tolkien scholarship.
