ok, Daniel, try this on for size! when Frodo went across the sea into the east to the Grey Havens, what were his final words, and to whom did he speak? and why did he tell Sam he could not come, and when did Sam finally join Frodo?

Frodo's last words were til Sam, "Come now, ride with me!" He didn't want Sam to go yet because Sam should stay and enjoy the Shire for many years, with his wife Rose. Sam joined Frodo September 22, 1482 (unless his voyage lasted several days).
