I vote for allowing Blind Guardian back as a reporter for the Downer, whether or not she was in fact hired in the first place. It's just what I needed, an extra dose of surrealism!

I don't really look like that, you know. I promised Hookbill a skip full of custard if he could get someone to say I was hot.

You cleaned the skip before you filled it with custard, right?

He prefers custard filled with bicycle parts and garnished with motor oil and masonry dust; you get a more interesting trifle that way. Besides, most of that sort of thing gets saved up for the shareholder AGM. That's what happened to my TNT meringue.

Grab your pitchforks, upend your granny and feed the dog to the bear! It's time for a P&A guest comic!
This week it comes from Oddwen, who used a lovely combinational of glue and glitter in her cereal and then came up with this neat sequence... More to come...

Blind Guardian did the second story for this week? This is wonderful! I'm glad that she's writing for the Downer; all of her stories are ridiculous and random, just like the Downer should be.
Oh, and Oddwen's P and A (plural) are awesome as well! I do wish she got more of an opportunity to show her guest/fan art off.

Faster than the speed of a creeping Wight's hand, it's the Downer Newspaper!
Oh good gracious me! Now, our last guest comic comes from the very mad TGEW. It's like having Father Christmas dressed as the Easter Bunny! Don't forget that if you've lost track of The Phantom and Alien, you can look back though the... PHANTOM AND ALIEN COMIC ARCHIVE THING Next week you can look forward to the inspiring and exciting adventures of Fungotch und Schmurt as they do battle with the evil Grmfologorothernafdlp and his army of dequems. It's fun for the family!

Also, I am very glad that my writing showed up. I only wrote it in pencil.

I tried to learn Portugese online (well, learn enough of it for a Brazil Model UN confrence awhile ago) and you really have to have an in-person teacher. Online just isn't the same...

Rune's Quality Beef is always looking to improve our products and constantly try to develop new ones.
That is why we expect to launch different almost meat free vegetarian products within near future. Like our new improved minced beef with only 12% beef, instead we have put in 88% of lard. Of course you can still get our standard minced beef, which still consists of 15% beef, 70 % lard and 15% hollow threats. This will be the biggest thing to hit the vegetarian world since John Goodman accidentally sat on a carrot. |

Yaaay for the return of Fungoltch unt Shcmurt! That was... apocalyptic.
On the philological side, Shcmurt seems to be speaking a different dialect in this epzold, but the corpus is yet too small for determining its precise relationship to Middle High Fungoltchian. Rune, if you're indeed intending to adjust your nutrition habits towards eating more chicken, I can't recommend anything better than Pitchie's Quality Poultry. Maybe I could even interest you in a merger?

What? I make one drunken proposal to a bunch of asparagus, and all of a sudden Rune is off his meat-only diet? It's a witch-hunt, I tell you. Fortunately, it would help six ongoing suits for bigamy (twelve Brussels sprouts, a plate of string beans and a salad bar) and one for breach of promise (an upstanding cauliflower of good family) if everyone were to eat the plaintiffs. Therefore I counsel immediate vegetarianism and a five-hundred per-cent increase in the size of everyone's meals.

And now, we run into the first episode of a new era of Phantom and Alien madness! Get ready for... THE QUEST FOR THE EPIC ADVENTURE! Don't forget that if you've lost track of The Phantom and Alien, you can look back though the... PHANTOM AND ALIEN COMIC ARCHIVE THING Volume 4 is going to be a lot less plot thick. I want to get back to the more jokey, one liner style of volumes one and two. I always got the feeling the plot was taking over in 3 and leaving too many people out in the dark. You don't NEED to read volume 3 to understand 4, but it may be neat to do so. Hopefully, this story will stand alone and be enjoyable. Next week, we'll catch up with the phantom. You remember where he was at the end of volume 2? Well, we'll find out, won't we?
