It wasn't quite the same second time round, so maybe it was the sad bits that I <I>wasn't</I> expecting that got to me. BookSmeagol is much more pitiable than movieSmeagol. I did like the added scene where Frodo calls him by his real name in the Dead Marshes, though. Nice.
