I know that it should have been so much better, but I'll still give it a 9.5. It's my second favourite film ever (after guess what!)Part of me wants to give it a 7 or something like that because of its inferiority compared with the book. But as we're talking movies, there's no other movie series that will ever come close to being as meaningful to me.That's why I give it a 9.5

9.5 It doesn't quite deserve a 10, because of what they did with Faramir and Osgiliath, and the battles definately deserve a 10, but my vote is 9.5 Arwen

I have my own little grading system.loyalty to the books: 7 book references: 9 soundtrack: 10 fighting: 9 Scenery and props: 10 special effects: 10 characters: 8 humor: 9 drama: 9 Samwise: 10Average it all and it's comes to about a 9.I would have given Fellowship a 9.5.
