Zebedee has just left Hobbiton.
I think that I should have been cast as Frodo. Peter Jackson should have consulted me before he made his film!

Tuor, I can see it now: Éomer confronting Saruman and saying, "Hello. My name is Éomer son of Éomund. You killed my cousin. Prepare to die!"

Personally, I think that Patrick Stewart would have made a good Gandalf. In fact, we could do up a whole Next Generation casting with no trouble (tribble? ) at all:

Gandalf - Captain Picard
Aragorn - Riker
Galadriel - Counselor Troi
Gimli - Worf
Elrond - Data
Frodo - Wesley Crusher
Sam - Jeordi
Merry - That guy who's always so nervous (what's his name again??)
Pippin - Alexander (Worf's son)
Boromir - Nameless Redshirt #37-J
Éowyn - Doctor Crusher
Saruman - Q

And if they ever do a live-action Hobbit, they have to (HAVE TO!!) get Brian Blessed as Thorin, John Rhys-Davies as Beorn (why pass up all that talent??) and Sean Connery as...some Dwarf, it doesn't matter which (perhaps Dáin), or maybe as Bard? And Christian Slater as Thranduil.
