well a part of the downs is to make new friends... me and Esgull live in the same region (around Calgary) never know, maybe we've met but don't know...now i'm scared...

Just popping in (I haven't posted on this thread for a year or so)

The Phantom always appeared to me like his name a phantom. Maybe even slightly ringwraithy. But he would be a good rigwraith(If that is possible)

As for people living close to Calgary, beware because I live in the Calgary area as well.

Eh--I'm not worried, most of the things I say around strangers is extremely guarded. So those inside jokes I make about the stereotypes of my region normally would only make sense to those that lived there at some point.

I guess I'll let you guys off easy this time, watch out: not everything I say is as easy to interpret as it looks.

(I'm sorry, burrahobbit, but...) For some reason I always imagined burra as a fluffy creature of some kind. It may be that the "burra" made me think of spiny burs, but then as there was the hobbit, it turned into soft, fluffy burs or some kind. I don't know; my mind works in weird ways.

And for some reason, I agree that phantom is, in my mind, although I don't know him well, a misty spectre of some variety.
