Fortunately that was after she said 'Off with his head" so the ring rolled away from Gollum's dismembered body into Scene 24

Unfortunately Gollum's body was reanimated by Sauron trying to use Gollum to get back the Ring, so Gollum (Minus the head) went after the Ring into Scene 24.
