Fordim Hedgethistle has been trapped in the Barrow!
I am now back and able to post and PM and all that.

Thanks to all those who noted my disappearance and in particular to HI and Bb who alerted the powers that be so that I could be re-embodied.

For a few days there I thought that I had been Barrow-Wighted!!

The Downs wouldn't be the same without you, Fordie - and you are sorely missed on the CbC discussions... (poke, poke)

I won't be on for a little bit. My comp at home got a crap load of viruses and crashed it. And my niece (on the other side of the state) has my windows disk to start it back from scratch. Don't have too much fun witout me.

well I don't know that you are allowed to have fun on the hallowed slopes of Taniquetil... you probably have to be sober and reverent at all times. COngratulations on your elevation none the less..

Whoa... I'm on the Straight Road. I must say I never thought that would happen -- so a huge thank you to all who helped me get there. Thanks for leaving comments, too; they always bring a smile to my face.

I notice that the jewel count doesn't change between the Straight Road and Taniquetil... at what point amount do you reach the lofty peak?

Well, I've fixed the problem quicker than I expected. Only spent about 5 hrs on it . But, got it up and going, and installed some extra protection ware and upgraded to 9.0 .

I thank aina, for finally getting me over the hump...I wonder if it was coincidence that you read my post right when you were watching Napolean Dynamite? Anyway thankyou. And Thankyou all who enjoyed reading what I had to post.
