Hmm... most interesting...

Is this (the tater-theft business) a sign that past a certain point, one's reputation title takes on a humourous, rather than serious, air?

If so, t'is a good trend, say I, and I eagerly await the time when we can acclaim the crowning of our first "Gandalf the Grey Uncloaked".

I think it means that Eru himself was known for his sticky fingers when around the taters, back in the day before he matured a bit and decided to do something productive with his life.

I think its a wonderful surprise. Mainly, because you would think that you would recieve an even more 'godly' title, but... SURPRISE! Taters! It brings you down to earth... A bit more.

That title made me laugh considerably. Mainly at the suggestion that stealing taters from confused Gaffers is a feat not even Manwe could achieve!

I wonder if Lal has gone so far she has tipped over the edge and is actually now at the lowest level, the previously unplumbed depths?

Since so many of us prefer the carrot to the stick and the worst I can ever remember anyone being was "acting a bit like Ted Sandyman" (I think BW did list them at some point?)... stealing spuds from senile old codgers is a bit mean....

Have there been new 'rep thingies' written then? I hope so, because it will be funny looking out for new ones, and waiting to see how surreal they can get. Though I do recall that the number of boxes can't go over 11?

Dibbers are all very well but I found that the guys in the office were careful not to annoy me the day I bought extending tree loppers at lunchtime....
