Oh, my, Royal Doulton subbuteo figures for the sports figures.

But in keeping with Tolkien's desire for a mythology for England, would we prefer Wedgewood Fine Bone China figures or should we seek out the Spanish company Lladro, who has already cast a Lord of the Rings porcelain figure collection?

Lladro's style has often suggested to me elven proportions whereas Wedgewood seems to me to describe the hobbit rotundity. Where would we Barrow Downers stand in this contrast? Or perhaps "sit" is the more appropriate action, as most of us surely sit at our monitors.
