most captivating: Gondor
most mysterious: I would have to say Moria, because of the once great kingdom of dwarves that once dwelt there have all left their god-like halls oh yeah, and lorien is pretty mysterious too. and creepy. most interesting: Mordor

I would have to say that the most captivating lands, sorry can't choose just one, would have to the Shire, Bree and Rohan and the most mysterious land in all of Middle Earth would have to the Barrow-Downs.
