Congrats Durelin! And congrats Di & Heren too! And Rune... It's so easy not to note these as one just goes to log in immediately without looking at the end of the front page... I've just passed my half a year point, so that might be understandable - or then not.  But really. You all are those people why this site is worth coming into time after time again. Take all the credit from me at least!

I know it's a slight bit of self-promotion.. but today I celebrate my first death day!
Three hundred and sixty five nights is not enough time to haunt with such wonderful wraiths and ghosts. I don't know half of you half as well as I would like, and I like half of you half as well as you deserve. Did I quote that one right? I hope not, if I did it'd mean that I've read LoTR once too many. But then, this is one of the few places that's not only acceptable, but expected. Still, I must say that I just love this community and the great people from all different backgrounds that participate here. I've been in several Internet forums and each has its own dynamics, but I've found none where everyone is as friendly and polite as the 'downs.

I just realized that I missed my Deathday!
I died here November 30, 2001. I have been at the Downs for five fantastic years. Wow. That's actually a really long time.  Happy Deathday to Farael and Firefoot!!
