the guy who be short has just left Hobbiton.
Last night I dreamt I was on the Downs (so I just saw writing, no actual people).

Firstly I was on the WWXXX Admit thread in post-discussion. Durelin was saying how amazed she was that the village hadn't used a shortlist, as it would obviously benefit them. Then Lalaith started talking about a downer called Lalaf, whose existence I doubt.

Then a bit of my dream was influenced by reading about Menel's new game in which the no. of wolves is unknown. I dreamt I was in a field at night under starlight (very Elvish) with a multitude of others. We discussed the possibility that maybe there were no wolves - what if they were all just cows? Suddenly my viewpoint was that of a cow, and I wandered here and there, chewing on cud. It all seemed fine - of course there were no wolves! Just cows walking around at night. But then I, still a cow, wandered out into the grass away from the people sleeping on the fields, and I was suddenly surrounded by wolves.

Ahem. Back to normality. Then I saw that Lhunardawen had created a new thread in N&N entitled "MICHAELDAY!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY FORMENDACIL!!!!!!!!!!" Even though his birthday has gone, and Michaelmas is far away!
