Though actually thinking about it, perhaps it's not a bad idea to plan a meeting that far ahead. Not everyone can schedule or earn money for a trip in a matter of months, so if something got arranged that far ahead, possibly even more BDers would turn out. Specifics don't necessarily have to be made so early, but maybe a general idea on month and location. Just an idea...

On another note, are any BDers visiting New York City this summer? If not, I highly encourage you to as I will be there for a good three months.

And you're right in that if we were to plan a big Downer meeting, it should be started well in advance.
