My favorite was the unabridged version read by Rob Inglis. He's got the perfect voice for it, and the way he voiced Tom Bombadil was exactly the way I always imagined he would sound.

You're right though, the BBC radio drama has the best music by far! That one is my second favorite.

Well, here I finally am. I've been wandering around Tolkien's Middle-earth for more than a decade and I just arrived at the Downs. Interesting place you have here.
