Not really. It makes me happy to see people guessing about what's happening; right or wrong, it's encouraging. But, this is the Barrow Downs and its full of big brains, so it's hard to keep everyone in the dark.

TGEW, do not beat yourself up over being clever. Cause you are probably being clever right now by making that last post and saying you are not. That way someone is all nice and feels bad for you. You gain a lot from that. Genius idea. Now I am jealous that I did not think of something like that.

So I guess he grows some adult teeth at some point, haha, and loses the bow tie....too bad, I like the bow tie....

Yep. Alien's adventures with time travel aren't over. Indeed, his appearance in volume 2 was one of his last trips, I think. (You'll notice the label is still on at this point, so it's quite an early trip).
