I must say this was a good one. . .I was quite suprised by the general standard of it.

Aganzir's drawing was not only good it also made me laugh out loud, which is not something I do a lot when looking at these tings.

Also Lommy's sentence was good. . .And let me say that I am quite pleased with the length of the sentences, some of them are still longer than I like them. . .but this game is all about individuality and as long as it is kept on this level, then I am pleased.

Another reason I am pleased with them is because people have made an efford to make a humoristic twist on them, rather than just making a stricktly emperic observasion. . .

I love this crazy round! :D But however fine the other pictures are, I must say Nogrod's was simply the best. It is hilarious! I just laughed so much. :D THE Ka and Agan keep astonishing with their drawing skills - and both their pictures were very funny too, and Ka's treewoman is just gorgeous. Also, I can't believe it how similar Agan's and Rune's pictures are. It is scary. Also, many of the sentences were very funny - actually almost all of them. Rikae's and Legate's amused me the most, though. Oh, this was great. I'm up for the next one, and prefer drawing - although writing is fine too.

In genneral I think it would be good if people before signing up for paper-telephone would consider wether they would be busy or not in that period of time, just like we don't (or very seldome) sign up for ww if we are going to be very busy.

I know paper-telephone is less predictable than ww, both with individual and overall time. . . .but i don't think it would hurt to give it some thought before signing up.

Yes, but then, PT usually goes for a long time so unless people are away for several weeks totally, they can find a way to draw a picture, or even better, just write a sentence (even the drawing surely can be done in an hour or less, if need be!). And you can check from time to time where the line is, and if you know you won't be here on your particular turn, you can talk with someone to switch... The only thing is when you count with some progress and it does not go as fast as you anticipated (or as slow as you anticipated), and you realise you won't have chance to make it at all...

Well yes, I'd say if there was no problem from EW's side, then I would make it the way that if it's not Friday yet and it's his turn, instead give it to me, I will reply to it and it's done. If it's not that way, then you may either wait for me the week after that to show up, or simply then switch me with someone... or it can happen that I arrive back just at the right time for my own turn :) (I am going to be away 20th-28th most likely).

Yes it does take a long time. . .sometimes because people have not given it thought.

Now for me it is only a matter of taking an hour out of schedual to draw a picture or write a sentense, so I know I can always sign up unless I am actually going away from internet acces. Now other people might not be able to do this, maybe because they have higher standards for what they are willing to submit and so I just ask that people do not sign up if they are very busy. . . . I am not saying that people should not sign up if they expect to be busy 2 days out of a month and you can of course be unlucky with stuff comming coliding with Paper-telephone, all I really ask for is that people feel some sort of comitment to get this game running smoothly and that they give it some thought before signing up.

The Moon, driven by a viking-style orc, is inhabited by Phantom, Alien who has turned into a plant and a pack of hippie-ish elves in a sidecar, and circled by Holy Gwaihir and a happy Gollum chasing the Ring.

Thus ended the telephone of paper! If it ever could come again, then we’d all be in for some serious trouble from the government!

The Phantom and Alien look in as the wizards have their weight loss challenge, and it is made out that Radagast the obese has eatten the blue wizards.

Eönwë heard and immediately created an advertisment for pork thus conquering half the world.

Formendacil saw the ad and decided to fight evil by telling the truth to the local press.

Alatar and Pallando take Radagast the Corpulent's fitness program and try and burn away the colours to become the next white wizards.

Naz overheard Formendacil and got inspired to form an utterly useless band which took the following as its stage perfermance.

Beregond robbed Greenie's house next afternoon, but was hypnotised by the content of Greenie's diary that later, when he was arrested, the police saw how he had ruined Greenie's nice TV.

THE Ka, generally knowing everything, was the first to explain the situation right. Fortunately, nobody listened to her.

Unbeknownst to Bilbo, Gandalf's ultimate use of Thorin's company was for commercializing the famous 'dwarven girth' on the Dragon Food Network by displaying Bombur as a 307 kg virginia ham.

Nogrod had a completely unrelated vision and proclaimed himself the King of On.

Legate of Amon Lanc thought Nogrod was joking and took retelling the joke as his life's quest.

Gandalf had his secret reasons to organise the Quest to Erebor: Smaug had ordered Dwarves for meal in Gandalf's online food shop.

Thinlómien saw the potential harm in the joke and locked it behind two bars having not a clue of the consequences.

Like the careful reader might have guessed, Oddwen was behind it all (the bars too) and what a terror she created. Oh dear, oh dear...

Gandalf's foray into the grand world of M-eBay is far more successful than he had ever planned, and the business reasons for the "lucky 13" is made clear.

Aganzir had the good sense to join Oddwen's cause, for now, and bring the terror into visual form.

The cheery lad next door, being none other than Hookbill, took out his copy of The Downer and was amused to no end. His amusement made the sky split.

Despite his usual good nature, Gandalf thought things had gone too far when, returning from a weekend in Gondor, he found that his computer had held a birthday party without him. He grinned as he sent his complaints to the National Party Association; knowing that his childish blanket would comfort him until he got a reply.

TheGreatElvenWarrior had waited for this moment and as soon as the sky split, she left her note and flew away into a parallel world.

Eönwë mistook TGEW for a certain hairy gentleman and wrote a story about it. Later he was mistaken for Eonwe and awarded a Nobel Prize for literature.

In a strange, blurry parallel universe, Gandalf comforts himself with his childish towel during his 1st birthday, after coming off an aeroplane from Beige City, Gondor. Why the mysterious "EL" corporation are waiting for his reply to present to the "Complaints Office National Party Association" remains a mystery.

Formendacil had nothing to do, so he drew a picture of his cellar.

Naz tried to call his friends to let him out of the cellar, but nasty things occured.

In an alternate dimension, a high-class wizard enjoys his first cake of the season, whilst the disgruntled members of the Elven League come away from the NPA's complaint office, having thoroughly confusing it.

A Little Green ate shrimps when someone called her. While she was discussing grave matters, her shrimps decided to have their revenge and transformed into a painting.

Beregond escaped from jail and would have become a criminal mastermind if he had read newspapers and known that the mafia had now become the government. He become a national hero instead and saved the world with his wit.

The NPA Complaint Office confuse themselves as Pallando, resplendent in designer robe and oblivious to growing tension between Elrond and Celebrian, enjoys his cake.

THE Ka liked the new government no more than the preveous since the ban on her paintings hadn't been lifted. Not that it stopped her from painting.

Nogrod's land of On was sieged by painters armed with THE Ka's paintings. He sounded the ear phones of war.

In Dol Guldur "complaint office" Sauron dismisses Galadriel's and Elrond's complaints over his ring-policies as mere whining and enjoys the cake of power.

Legate thought of paiting the great battle of On but was slightly too metaphorical about it when he did what he had to.

Thinlómien sat on a chair, opened BD and saw that she had recieved a new reputation. She commented on it on the Dreams thread in the following lines.

The Mouth of Sauron wasn't impressed by the Free Peoples' complaints against equipping all Middle-Earthians with a control Ring subjected to Sauron's Ring, especially as these complaints were brought forwards by ugly Elrond and Glorfindel in Arwen's nightgown.

Oddwen hacked into Lommy's account and deleted the preveous comment before anyone else saw it. Victorious she danced a silly dance and the dance began living a life of its own by the name Johan and looked sort of thin.

Hmm, Legate's Elrond actually looks a bit like how I imagine Elrond. ;) I find it extremely funny though how Galadriel became Glorfindel.

Wow, these were just brilliant, wonderful - this must have been the best PT round for some time. Well, no wonder: it's been quite long since the last one :p

Anyway, wonderful, everyone, and there's just soo much to the pics that I'll have to look at all of them again, and again probably... (and maybe even again). They're all just too comlex! Great works, really. And I like also how nicely the theme switched during the course of the PT.

And I don't really get what's so ugly about my Elrond, nor what made Galadriel Glorfindel :D

That was probably the most hilarious one I've seen! Not that it would have been the maddest or anything but the twists and turns were kind of followable but still insane enough. And especially the pics were just awesome!

The middle-finger of Legate's Sauron still haunts me - and Naz's Jumping Jacks or Lommy's mousepad of Smaug's with the "Welcome to Laketown" advertisment really made me laugh as much as Agan's and The Ka's pictures just made me admire their skills!

And as Agan already said, this round even some texts made me laugh. And that is something...

That. Was. Brilliant. Quite possibly the best thing i've seen all day... I can't even think of what i'd pick out right now; it was all awesome. The growing tension between Elrond & Celebrian is the first thing that comes to mind. "OMG this cake is so good!" xD Amd Smaug's "Welcome to Laketown" mousepad...

Thanks. The drawing wasn't much in the way of being unique though. Pallando is an anthropomorphication of the typical 'Constructively Complain Here So We'll Ignore You The Rest of The Month' paper I have to fill out in my Dept. meetings, while being given cake as a gift... Even though we make it. :rolleyes:

I really liked the tension factor though. Along with the politico conspiracy and soylent green a la dwarves element, it was a cherry on top.
Elrond and Celebrian just remind me of every seasoned couple I've met or watched, especially when one of them has a 'zanny' idea.

This round was amazing, and probably the best I've seen in awhile.

Also, 'Sooo Bomburific!' is now stuck in my head right alongside Oddwen's 'Loose Weight With Boromir the Disco King!', thanks to Nogrod.

If there is room, I'd definately love to join the next game.

Sure, well, in general the termines were at maximum 3-4 days for making a pic and 2-3 days for writing a description. It's just that not all the time one can do that, which is explainable. However, I would still encourage everybody to do their turns as soon as possible (but not at the expense of the quality!). At least at the beginning of this round, I think we were actually going pretty fast.

Now you have the chance to prove yourself and get it done in no time, Rune :cool:
