On the assumption that you are not counting Elladan and Elrohir as Elves, is it the passage through the Paths of the Dead?
Elrond of Rivendell
01-15-2004, 08:31 AM
Is it RotK ? - Yes
As for your question The Saucepan Man: I have counted Elladan and Elrohir as Half-Elves, so the above question "Was more than one Elf involved" may be answered with Yes or No, but I actually did not consider Half-Elves to be Elves in this game, when I answered Alatariel's question.
So here are the correct hints so far:
Is it an event? - Yes
Does it happen in RotK? - Yes
Were Hobbits involved? - No
Is it Aragorn summoning the oathbreakers to the Stone of Erech? - No
Was more than one "real" elf involved? - No
Is it the Three Hunters' chasing Merry and Pippin through Rohan? - No
The battle of Pelennor? - No
Were Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli involved? - Yes
Were Orcs involved? - No
Was Gandalf involved? - No
Was Boromir involved? - No
Are there people of Rohan involved? - No
Is it the passage through the Paths of the Dead? - No
And because the matter of Elves and Half-Elves is a tricky one:
Were Half-Elves involved? - Yes

This is a continuation of the 20 Questions thread, which was closed due to length.
The rules of the game, as originally posted by Telchar, are as follows:
OK here is a new idea! Instead of asking a question I will think of an answer. The answer can be a Person, a place, an event or an item of ME - then its up to you guys to ask questions - BUT ONLY questions that can be answered YES or NO - that way you can make your way to the correct answer.
The one that first guesses what I am thinking of, has earned the right to 'think of the next answer' .
HERE IS AN EXAMPLE:
Is it a person? - NO
Is it a object? - YES
Is it a building? - NO
Is it a weapon? - NO
Was it possesed by a man in the 3rd age? - NO
Was it made in the 1st age? - NO
Was it made in Valinor? - YES
Was it made by Fëanor? - YES
IS IT A SILMARIL? - YES!!!
And so on and so on... Remember that the clues that you achieve can be read by everyone - so though you may be really really close, someone else may pass you by and find the correct answer...
The person who correctly answered the last question on the previous thread may go first, which is ... uh ... me. smilies/smile.gif
So, ask away ...
