Here are the rules, originally posted by Telchar:

OK here is a new idea! Instead of asking a question I will think of an answer. The answer can be a Person, a place, an event or an item of ME - then its up to you guys to ask questions - BUT ONLY questions that can be answered YES or NO - that way you can make your way to the correct answer.
The one that first guesses what I am thinking of, has earned the right to 'think of the next answer' .

HERE IS AN EXAMPLE:

Is it a person? - NO
Is it a object? - YES
Is it a building? - NO
Is it a weapon? - NO
Was it possesed by a man in the 3rd age? - NO
Was it made in the 1st age? - NO
Was it made in Valinor? - YES
Was it made by Fëanor? - YES

IS IT A SILMARIL? - YES!!!

And so on and so on... Remember that the clues that you achieve can be read by everyone - so though you may be really really close, someone else may pass you by and find the correct answer...

He we are currently-

Is it a person? Yes
Is it an Elf? Yes
First Age? Yes
Is it a male? No
Is the Elf a Noldo? No
Teleri? No
Indis? No
Serindë? No
Amarië? No
Nellas? No

The Saucepan Man
05-09-2004, 07:35 PM
Is it the Red Book of Westmarch? But that might be considered organic too, at least in origin.

So, to clarify, when you say that it's not organic, do you mean "not living" or "not organic in origin" (which would preclude materials such as wood, leather, textiles and paper)?

Firefoot
05-09-2004, 08:31 PM
What it bequeathed upon a hobbit/the hobbits by someone not native to the Shire? No

And I mean not organic at all. Not living, and not organic in origin. I hope this clears things up. :)

A note for clarification on the last two questions: before it is asked, I'm considering the main hobbits to be Merry, Pippin, Frodo, Sam, and Bilbo. And when I say it is waterproof, I mean it can't be harmed by water.
