Galadriel55
09-05-2012, 03:32 PM
That is, of course, correct, Guinevere. I'm really sorry about all the mistakes. It's not unusual for me to add an extra dash in a word or put a letter in the wrong spot every once in a while, but this time in addition to about 5 of those minor errors I seem to have duplicated one word nd swallowed two. I just don't get how I could have gotten it that way. How unfocused I must have been when I filled in the letters....:(

Ah! I thought you'd missed out n's but I've got it now.
"Is it the custom in your land to wash the head before supper?"
One of the soldiers of Ithilien to Sam when they've been captured by Faramir.

Of course, of course :) Well done. Your turn!
(What N's did you think I missed?)
I thought the last word should be 'dinner' so n's would have been missing there. Then worked out the rest of it and figured out ... supper!

"Don't despair!" said Strider. "You must trust me now. Your Frodo is made of sterner stuff than I had guessed, though Gandalf hinted that it might prove so. He is not slain, and I think he will resist the evil power of the wound longer than his enemies expect. I will do all I can to help and heal him. Guard him well, while I am away!"
Strider to Sam, after the attack of the Black Riders on Weathertop.
Correct! All yours Guinevere.
