2. Can it be a part of a speech, if the whole speech is a long one?

3. The first post of the thread says answers must be LOTR-related, but I saw one recently from (I think) The Silmarillion, and the last one was from The Hobbit. From which works can I choose?

Can be a couple sentences from a speech, from any of the "canon" (avoid things like HOME). As for needing a speech as opposed to text, I think that has been the unspoken rule. But I think if you have a good recognizable text passage it would work too.

*blushes* I didn't quote from memory but I did fill in the esses from memory and substited wish for hope. I was working from the Kindle edition as nearly all my books are still in store (hoping to exchange any day, please Eru). In that anyone is one word. It is the fiftieth anniversary edition that attempted to has attempted to correct errors that crept in typesetting and digitalisation and sometimes for consistency. There is a lengthy note on it all. So half my error half my edition.
